Critical Care Flight Nurse
Qualifications:
- Has extensive knowledge of the uses, dosages, side effects of medications as they apply to different disease states. Able to assess clinically whether medication is effective.
- Creates an integrated care environment that is efficient, safe, and cost effective.
- Extensive experience in health promotion, maintenance, and prevention at every stage of growth and development.
- Experienced in working with highly infectious specimens and minimizing the hazards of infection.
- Promotes team spirit and works collaboratively with others in the medical team.
- Capable of performing general procedural nursing duties.
- Excellent, in depth knowledge of physiological functions and processes as they relate to issues of patient care.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills. Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction.
- Displays professionalism, compassion, and sound medical practice when dealing with challenging patients.
- Combines judgment, extensive experience, and business knowledge to make sound decisions.
- BS or equivalent experience preferred 3 to 5 years of ICU or ED experience ACLS, PALS, BLS, ITLS, and NRP Current license as a Registered Nurse Excellent communication skills Passport Previous Flight Expereienced preferred, but not required Excellent PR Skills Neonatal Care Experience Preferred Intra - Aortic Balloon Pump Experience Preferred ACLS PALS NRP STABLE TNCC PHTLS
